Truly fascinating that World of Warcraft continues to create content to this day. Keeping it fresh for old school players as well as making the world feel even bigger for newcomers. Today we’ll talk about all the new and upcoming things that we can expect from WoW’s latest expansion, “The war within”.
You might wonder why you can’t access this expansion as soon as you made your account. There’s so much to see, but it feels so far away! However, there’s a solution. You can take a WoW boost. Whether its character level, gold, or acquiring different event specific items. You can get it all in quick fashion in order to get to the new stuff even faster.
The War Within
This expansion brings a lot to the table. From a new zone, raid, mounts, a cartel renown system, delves and dungeons to pick from so let’s get into everything.
New zone: Undermine
This new expansion brings us to The goblin capital, undermine. Here you’ll learn about their place in the lore and the different problems they face.
The architecture shares similarities to other goblin zones in the world, with their ironclad houses and chaotic shapes in every structure.
Goblin Cartels
The Undermine also has their fair share of factions that you can partner with.
- Bilgewater: Inventors and geniuses.
- Steamwheedle: Alchemists and entrepreneurs.
- Blackwater: Ex pirates that focus on the vacation and shipping business.
- Venture Co: These goblins are all about acquiring materials. Even if the method leaves some to be desired
Each week, you can choose one of these factions to help out through various different activities to gather renown, which can then be used to get different kinds of rewards. Such as a mount, titles, various customization options. You can even influence different open world activities and start events that spawn rare enemies. Make sure to give this a look when you’re here. It’s vital to get some of the more unique things that this expansion offers!
New mount: D.R.I.V.E.
These goblins can get you some wheels to drive around the undermine. And you can customize them and even change some of their stats! The most exciting part about this new mount is that it’s by far the fastest ground based mount in the game so far. The only downside is that you can only use this vehicle in the undermine, at least as of writing this article.
To unlock the G-99 Breakneck, you’ll need to complete the quest “No More Walkin’ Here” in chapter 2 of the expansion, so I’d recommend beelining towards completing it so you can explore the new area both fast and in style. One last important bit is that once you unlock this mount, it also unlocks for every character in your account!
New Dungeon: Operation Floodgate
In this new dungeon, players must work together to ensure that goblins don’t destroy a dam, effectively destroying the undermine. This new dungeon has unique rewards you can get as well as some achievements you can complete within it. You can enter it as soon as you get to the undermine, although there’s also a quest that guides you there.
New Delves
Delves are short adventures you can engage with to earn unique rewards. In this new expansion, we can go through some delves to reach level 80 unlocking the Delver’s Dirigible, a flying machine, and we can customize the color, nose, wings, thrusters, top, and even give it decals!
Just go into the Delver’s Headquarters that you’ll find in the undermine and pick which ever missions you want to do in order to unlock it.
New Raid: Liberation of Undermine
With a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 players, this new raid will take us up against 8 different bosses and give us plenty of unique rewards. Players will be able to enter this raid after completing the first chapter of this expansion. Team up with the cartels to set the goblins free in this explosive and fun raid!
This raid also comes with its own renown track, where you can get different rewards in what’s known as the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club. Beating bosses and different elite enemies will grant you reputation points, which will in turn transform into renown tiers. These give you different rewards such as:
- All Professions Tables, Vendors, and a Crafting Order Specialist become available at the Incontinental Hotel.
- Consume food twice as fast while in the Raid. You also get access to the “busted rune dispenser” in the hotel. It has a chance to grant a “crystallized augment rune”
- The hotel gets a transmog and item upgrade vendors.
- get a Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Card and a 3% boost to damage and healing while in the raid
- Unlock a Raid skip. Use it to avoid redoing bosses you already fought.
- Move 10% faster while in the raid, while outside of combat.
- The boost to healing and damage while in the raid is increased to 6%.
- Get the Thunderdrum Misfire mount
- Vendors will appear outside the Cauldron of carnage in the raid, selling miniaturized battle pets.
- The boost to healing and damage is increased to 9%.
- Movement out of combat improves to 20%, and you are granted one “counterfeit Dealer’s chip” which can be used to buy cosmetic items.
- A goblin in the raid will give you a hot sauce, giving you a fire damage breathing effect that scales based on your consumables.
- The damage and healing boost goes up to 12%
- The busted rune dispenser is now fixed and grants a crystallized augment rune and can either give you more or explode.
- You receive a second Counterfeit dealer’s chip and the 6th boss of the raid, the one-armed bandit, now has a chance of dropping one as well for your personal loot.
- Damage and healing boost is increased to 15%
- You get the Darkfuse Compactor mount
- Out of combat movement is increased to 30% and an auctioneer is now available at the hotel.
- Damage and healing boost is increased to 18%, this is the final increase to these stats that you’ll get.
- You’re given a new title, “High Roller %s”. You’re also given access to a teleport to the raid’s entrance that you can use anywhere, and finally you can purchase the Furious Flarendo mount.
New PVP arena
Looking a lot like a post apocalyptic arena. This new battleground will ensure your epic battles with other players have the right mood to them. And you’ll get a cool new mount, the Vicious Skyflayer, if you fight well enough!
